To 25 parts of this solution is added:-

Phenotic resin……………………..    30 parts
Amyl acetate………………………    15 parts
Ethyl acetate………………………    35 parts
Acetone……………………………     50 parts

This gives a clear lacquer suitable for baking. It is highly resistant to water and may be used outdoors. If desired
pigments may be included for the purpose for giving color effects.
